Great honor for Maidment and Miller.
Maidment has been a consistent figure in Hawaii's lineup during her tenure.

Maidment/Miller stepped up having to play the 5's to the 4's and won.
Whatever the injuries are, I hope that they are able to get better soon. There is depth but seemingly not at the top flights. Flight #2 is our bugaboo flight yet again (even thought Glagau/Thelle looked so good in the off-season)

Bows hold onto to win 3-2 against #19 GCU. Same line-up they used against TCU in their final match last week. Miller/Maidment had a an early lead in the third set at the 4’s but GCU came back at the end
1. Santer/Embry 2. Glagau/Napoleon 3. Wagoner/Amiatu 4. Miller/Maidment 5. Burton/Thelle 6. Ali/Hardisty (tied 1-1)

Hawaii is honoring a fantastic senior class this week with athletes like Napoleon, Santer, Glagau, Maidment, and everybody's favorite purse swanger, Ms. Wagz!

I thought the rules stated that players must move up or down one position at a time? Or does this only apply to pairs?

Team Lineups The team’s completed NCAA Beach Volleyball – Regular Season Dual Match Lineup Form (team lineup) should be submitted to the Head Referee one hour before the start of play, or 15 minutes before the start of the next dual, if playing back-to-back duals, at which time, the lineup is official.
Coaches are responsible to position their pairs (positions 1-5) in order of ability for ALL matches from the first match of the season to the last match of the season. Within this guideline:
a. Player movement within the team lineup is restricted to one position up or down from one event to another. Examples: (1) A player currently listed in a 3 position may be moved up one position in the lineup to a 2 position, or may be moved down one position in the lineup to a 4 position. (2) A player currently listed in a 1 position may be moved down one position in the lineup to a 2 position.
b. Changes to the official lineup must be reported immediately to the Head Referee. The Head Referee will share the lineup changes with the opponent’s head coach as soon as possible. (1) For purposes of lineup changes, a dual, a tournament that includes bracket play, and a bracketed pair’s tournament are different events, even if played on the same day or at the same site on simultaneous days. (2) A coach may make lineup changes from one event to another as long as they stay within the one position parameter for moving players.

Plus she came out for a bit and re-entered with a new partner.

The moves matter only with the matches at hand. If it's a duo match, then I believe you can move one up or one down. Thelle has been playing with injury since Pre-season, since the start of the pairs competition. HIPAA rule does not allow the release of injury details.

On Senior night, UH-GCU 4-1. Riley cramped up in set 2, they (3's) fought hard but could not pull it off.

Big West tourney and the auto-berth coming up!
I think Hawaii has done enough to earn an at-large (as have Cal Poly and Long Beach), but a good seed is still important so they can have a winnable first round match.

Hawaii does a chance at an at-large, worst case scenario for them is if any teams still the auto-bid from the other conferences. So this weekend we need to root against GCU, Pepperdine, and especially FIU.

Right, they need to hope there's not a lot of bid thiefs. If all the expected teams win their conferences, I think they are in. Their resume is actually stronger than the last two years imho.
I guess they need to not also finish lower than 3rd in the tourney.
