I wonder why not a lot of Americans explore asia leagues and seem to prefer Europe. Lately, the pay in some of this leagues are goldmine that ranges from 70-100k with short season. For mid level players this is perfect. Don't some of the Asian leagues have major restrictions on Non Asian Foreigners per team? Korea is 1, China is 2, Japan is 2 but I think they are expanding to 3 next year. I am not sure about the Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia leagues.

I'm too lazy to look it up , but I remember asking how Gardini would do in Italy and a lot of people thought he would be bad, but dang, the kid is moving to Milano.
While Gaby is off to Greece.. geez.

Gardini and Porro actually had good seasons for Padova this year.

Gardini did a pretty good job offensively, but was a massive serving target: 525 targets, aced 65 times, reception efficiency of 6%.
GGF just wasn't it. Not a good feeling as this is likely Matt Anderson's last NT season...

It’s a nice move for him, definitely with the added bonus of him being Italian. However, not sure how good of a fit this is for Gardini. For a team with champions league and high aspirations, I’m a bit skeptical of Milano’s signings.

Getting called up for the national team is also pretty good stuff. Will definitely have competition for playing time.
