Maple has committed to Indiana....
I got the scoop that she made a decision back in February. Apprently, there was a lot of moving parts. She was pretty much set on UNC and some other factors came in to play and her old coaches swayed her to Indiana.
Mike and CO miss out on another good target who we desperately needed.

Good for her! I hope she can add value to the program. Curious question though, I thought it was a little late in the process for 2025 to recruit since we are on the cusp of focusing on the 2026 class and June 15th? I know better late than never and all and don’t get me wrong, she has some talent for sure, but doesn’t committing this late kinda mean that the top setters/prospects were already taken and she’s more middle to bottom of the pack for this level of vball? Also, seems like 5’9” at this level won’t see a 5-1 unless she’s out of this world. Not hating on her one bit, just interested in how the program outlook is doing. Thoughts? |

I’m gonna hold my breath and wait for the season. We’ve had good recruits in the past but it never really worked out for us.
Less expectations, less disappointment. 🤷♂️
Lately disappointment is the word of the day regarding volleyball in Chapel Hill.
Let’s go Heels and surprise us in a good way this year.
