I wonder if Fisher didn't take the mission news well? So she's like well I'm gonna transfer somewhere else then (cough byu) For sure, I would react badly, if this was in the works and she didn't mention the possibility beforehand. Reminds me of the time I hired a summer intern for three months (June-Aug) and then in late July, they informed me they were going on a cruise with their family and would leave on August 1. My response was, "Let's not wait until August 1st, today can be your last day." And then-- weirdly-- when that intern applied to the Texas Bar a few years later they listed me as a character reference. Suffice it to say, no recommendations were given.

Someone’s played like 17 sets in two years for a Final Four program and springs an unexpected two-year hiatus on the team. Stunning that maybe she got the impression they won’t be holding any playing time for her in 2026.

Louisville & NC State both announced their schedule, any idea when Pitt’s fall schedule will come out?

Honestly? If I were a pitt fan, I wouldn't be worried. iirc, Pitt was always kinda like scary (not in a good way) looking in terms of roster in the post-pre season and end up getting fairly good portal players. On the other hand, Jepsen leaving for a mission trip and going into the portal is such messy diva realness and I have to stan wherever she goes

Louisville & NC State both announced their schedule, any idea when Pitt’s fall schedule will come out? They are probably trying to figure out when they can get into the Pete. So basketball has to start to be figured out. That being said, SMU is Pitt's travel "buddy", and their schedule is out. So you can look at SMU's schedule, see where and who they are playing on what date, and get a guess on when and where they are playing Pitt. ex: SMU's first two games are at GT and then at Clemson the first weekend of ACC play (friday/sunday). Assume Pitt is playing the same two dates, just at Clemson, then at GT. Each team plays 20 games. The first 18 are two games against their "buddy" (home/away on Tuesday/Saturday) plus one game against every other team (historically Friday/Sunday), but then the last weekend, you play two other teams, one home, one away. These are selected so teams with projected low RPI's are paired against each to improve chances for better seeding. We know for Pitt game 19 is at Louisville the day before thanksgiving. Game 20 is still unknown, but based on available info, the guess is that it's going to be at home against Georgia Tech, which would be a prime candidate for a game at the Pete, sometime the weekend after Thanksgiving. As non conference, nothing has been announced anywhere yet. Pitt hasn't appeared on any announced schedule yet.

Maybe not the toughest out there, but at least against several solid opponents.
