I agree, and after looking at the first team all americans again it makes me think the 3rd is one of the two Stevens all-americans, likely Koby Sherman. Not sure if a Stevens player will be on this as they are a very well balanced/ deep team and their numbers wont jump out as a Player of the year caliber. Mason Nissley won player of the year when his team was not a top team in the country. Again maybe the Reignman knows if you need to be player of the year for your region to even be considered for national player of the year or is that just miss information that I heard. I still think it is Labouliere who wins the award. Wasn't on this year's call, but typically the regional player of the years are the candidates for NPoY.

I say someone from Stevens because I couldn’t point to another player on the first team who would be deserving and wasn’t listed by the guy above.

player of the year race down to Andrew Kim, Jacob Labouliere, Corey Mayotte and Christian Shaeffer. Anyone have any predictions? Should come out tomorrow. I have inside knowledge on this topic. 2/4 are correct in the running, you're missing a big one. I am aware of the top 3 contenders in order. I feel like Connor Fuelner has got to be in the running.

I don't think you could eliminate a player if they are on a well balanced/ deep team. Andrew Kim won last year and he was on a well balanced/ deep team. But then again, he was a region's player of the year last year. It will really depend on the criteria for the player of the year. Kim's team may not have qualified for the playoffs this year but Hobart was a first year program this year. How does his leadership count leading a team of freshman?

As I sit here contemplating my PA Primary votes for today, I also ponder as to why Reese Ganter did not receive votes as an All-American? #whyd3 because he wasn't good enough. Harsh. Ganter had a great season. Anybody know if he'll be back next year? Seems a lot of players are taking that grad year and even using the covid year.

Not sure a middle will get the votes for NPOY. Just the nature of the position. same reason a Libero wont get the votes as well. Fuelner is still the best middle in the country. I think the third would be Jacob Kim. Won UVC Player of the Year over Andrew.

Don't think anyone will get it at this point
