Well then what’s your favorite mayor of New York City whining about? Why are you also mad at Governor Abbott if there’s no crisis? Embarrassing. Still avoiding the fact Republicans are refusing to come to the table for political reasons.

From all accounts he's not only an awful mayor, but incredibly corrupt and possibly going to catch a federal indictment this year. They paid $100 million in overtime to NYPD so they could stand around subway stations in large groups playing candy crush (I have, in fact, seen this with my own eyes on multiple occasions) while shutting down the NY Public Library on *weekends* because of budget cuts. The guy is a petty fascist. People have always come across the border and will always come across the border. It's impossible to police and we shouldn't be doing it anyway. As long as capital flows across borders, people are going to flow across borders to follow it.

So far it seems like there's one unwilling to negotiate. How about you accurately state the truth for a change? Or are there others beside Nehls who said they would do the same?

I am not about to get into some silly pi$$ing contest with you. So if you want to have a discussion please do. Do you not agree that Nehls is saying the quiet part out loud? Do you honestly think he is the only Republican using immigration as a political football?

Yes, you're right, holding you to being accurate or factual would be silly. In the same context as your question, do you not see Democrats as being politically motivated to do something about the numbers coming over the border now that it's an election year? Where was this concern and willingness to negotiate last year?

With that said if the southern border is as much of a crisis as Republicans say it is then why not come to the table and hammer out a deal?

Biden is offering up an immigration compromise in order to secure funding for Ukraine and Israel. The whole thing is political dealing, although it's clear he's partial to a harsh immigration regime so who knows how much he's really giving away here.

Troy Nehls for one.

Asking for a friend since I am sure your response will be over my head.
