FSU beats GCU 3-2 and LSU 4-1 but uses a different line-up. Maddie, Skyler, Alli, Morgan, Carra, and Kaeli not in the line-up (Skyler, Alli, and Carra played yesterday). Wondering if some players are sick/injured or if FSU is trying to find something else after losing to Cal and UCLA last weekend?

Cal Poly has an undefeated (6-0) weekend and beats #7 LBSU 4-1 and #12 Hawaii 5-0 in the Big West Challenge. Strong showing by the Mustangs only dropping 2 pairs all weekend while using 14 different players. CP should move up in the rankings this week.

FSU doing well at their home invitational. They have used 15 different players in their 4 games so far and that doesn't include Anna Long, Caitlin Moon, Morgan Chacon, and Skyler Germann. Cool to see Taylor Head (former Arkansas indoor outside hitter) racking up wins at the 2s. I assume Morgan Chacon and Skyler Germann have been injured (along w/ Paige Kalkhoff) since we haven't seen them play in a while. Curious why Anna Long and Caitlin Moon have not been playing. They played as recently as last week. Results from that invitational: volleyballlife.com/tournament/20187/division/78052/round/130078/pools/128062

Am I seeing this right.. FSU hosts a tournament with LMU coming but they don't even play each other? Their schedule is just playing nobodys all week except maybe 3 tournaments with good teams. I understand that there are less elite teams in the East, but why even invite a good West Coast team if they're not going to play them? Yes they're playing each other next week, but I'm sure you'd want more reps against good teams as much as you can regardless. USC and UCLA play each other 5-6 times every year in the regular season and they always end up on top. Between their weak scheduling and blatant sandbagging (or just nonsense lineup changes), their reputation as an elite team is rapidly fading.
