Our village idiot actually posted this reasoning:
Imagine a presidential candidate suggesting he'd only communicate via one platform, especially one with financial connections.
And then imagine how naive you'd have to be to somehow think that's a positive.
Tammy, it’s so upsetting isn’t it that he keeps winning and you Democrats keep losing. You’ve tried every nasty dirty trick in the book and he keeps surviving. Truth social is going to make him incredibly rich. I love it when you dumb bastards lose. It delights me. Maybe you can be an employee. God knows you need a job.
Yes, Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) will make Trump a lot of money. Not sure how much when all is said and done, but hundreds of millions, at least. The question is: why are you rooting for this?
Sure, he pretends he hates the "dEmOnRaTs" like you do; but Donald Trump is EVERYTHING you claim you hate about Biden and Democrats.
Is it abortion? Do you think Trump is "Pro-Life"? Read or listen to Trump's interviews. He was openly Pro-Choice up until he realized he couldn't win the Republican nomination without pretending he cared about the fetus.
There isn't definitive proof that Trump paid for several abortions but... multiple people close to Trump, including Micheal Cohen insinuated he has. He's also made multiple women suspected of having an abortion paid for by him sign NDAs not to discuss it.
Trump's admitted he never used protection ("Deserved a Purple Heart for not getting STDs during Vietnam" paraphrase) and many women have admitted he didn't when they were with him (Stormy Daniels, Karen McDougal, etc). Even you can agree if Trump didn't use a condom when he was having sex with a porn star, or playmate while married with Melania at home with baby Barron:when would he?
Also, Trump said he was "very Pro-Choice" in multiple interviews, including Meet The Press.
Maureen Dowd interviewing Donald Trump: When he was a swinging bachelor in Manhattan, was he ever involved with anyone who had an abortion?
‘Such an interesting question,’ Trump said. ‘So what’s your next question?’”
In this interview, in January of 2004,
Donald Trump: No... She's on the pill.
Robin Quivers: You know you fell for that one time before.
Donald Trump: I did. That happened. She said, "I think I'm so happy! We're about to have a child." I said, "Excuse me?"
"I didn't know about this...what are we going to do about this?"
Yes, indeed. "What are we going to do about this?" Not the words of a known "Playboy" who hasn't paid for an abortion, at all. 🙄
When you watched "Wall Street", did you want billionaire Michael Douglas/Gordon Gekko to make more millions and Martin Sheen's company of blue-collar airline workers to lose their jobs? Did you root against Elliot Ness (Kevin Costner) when he was trying to stop the corrupt Al Capone in "The Untouchables"?lol
The MINUTE Trump's able to sell his shares, he will. He would do it today if he could. He may not even have to wait 6 months. He's Chairman and his Board of Directors is made up of his people: Donald Trump Jr, Devin Nunes, Kash Patel, Linda McMahon, etc. From what I've read, nothing is stopping the Board of Directors from allowing this,
A normal company looking at long-term growth and sustainability would not allow the majority share owner to cash out shortly after a merger like this. The Trumps aren't looking for that; they're just looking at another grift.
When Trump cashes out, and he will: the stock will be worthless and the company will fail. Who will make money: a small group of very wealthy people, including Trump. Who will be hurt? The small-time investor, mostly his loyal supporters. Why is this a great thing to you?
This is what Trump has done for 50 years: failed at everything he's touched, made money, and had other people pick up the tab.
Including the Presidency, there's not been a single venture that he's left in better shape than he was given or attempted. Even the family business, was just decades of fraud that finally caught up to him.
Not just failures that many business people and entrepreneurs experience. These are failures where Trump caused harm to millions of people and communities.
His entire business plan for 50 years has been to defraud people, the government, and now his supporters. Use his money and the courts. Stiff vendors and contractors. Not pay his workers. Make these "regular people" try to sue to get paid. 4,000 lawsuits. Tens of thousands of others couldn't take him to court because he'd just bleed them dry.
Start a charity, take the money, and have it shut down for fraud. Start a "University", take the money, and have it shut down for fraud.
Inherit a 2017 economy that was in good shape with steady growth for 7 years. A Pandemic Task Force and Pandemic Playbook in place to combat possible worldwide pandemics after the H1N1 and Ebola crises were averted. What does Trump do? Disband The Pandemic Task Force, ignore the Playbook, and make COVID much worse than it had to be.
Have you read or listened to Woodward's "The Trump Tapes"? You can make your own determination after you do, but it's clear Trump knew very early on how serious COVID was and how terribly he handled it. Any other Republican, Democrat, or Independent would have handled it better with less death, hospitalization, and division. Every decision he made wasn't to "aVoiD pAnIcKiNg tHe aMeRiCaN people", it was to personally benefit him.
Higher unemployment, 8 Trillion added to the debt in 4 years, NEGATIVE job creation over 4 years (1st time since Hoover), 3 thousand people dying A DAY from a virus he ignored, downplayed, and politicized: "It's one person from China. It'll go away in April (2020). It'll go away when the weather warms up (2020). It'll go away by Easter (2020)"
He encouraged the use of medications (Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine) to treat COVID for personal profit, then when HE came down with COVID: he didn't take either one! WTF?
Every single thing you've accused Biden of doing, without proof: Trump has done a hundred times, a hundred times worse and there IS proof.
Why, dude? Why the Trump worship? If you don't know the details of Trump's "success", I see the admiration; but Trump's life history is well known and public record.
There are many other Republicans who would still hate Democrats like you want.
Everyone reading this list, including you, would be a better business person and investor than Trump.
He inherited hundreds of millions, defrauded the government out of hundreds of millions, stole hundreds of millions through non-payment, made $1.6 billion WHILE PRESIDENT, and is an incredible con man (this Truth Social venture is the latest).
His whole life has been one Pump and Dump, but keeps rooting for "your guy"!!!
Here are some of Trump's failures. He and a few people profited, while people got screwed, just like they will with this venture:
Trump Airlines — Trump borrowed $245 million to purchase the Eastern Air Shuttle. He branded it Trump Airlines. He added gold bathroom fixtures. Two years later Trump could not cover the interest payment on his loan and defaulted.
• Trump Beverages — Although Trump touted his water as "one of the purest natural spring waters bottled in the world," it was simply bottled by a third party. Other beverages, Trump attempted have failed.
• Trump Game — Milton Bradley tried to sell it. As did Hasbro. After the investment, the game died and went out of circulation.
• Trump Casinos — Trump filed for bankruptcy three times on his casinos, namely the Trump Taj Mahal, the Trump Marina, the Trump Plaza in New Jersey, and the Trump Casino in Indiana. Trump avoided debt obligations of $3 billion for the first time. Then $1.8 billion the second time. And then after reorganizing, shuffling money and assets, and waiting four years, Trump again declared bankruptcy after missing ongoing interest payments on multi-million dollar bonds. He was finally forced to step down as chairman.
• Trump Magazine —Trump Magazine went out of business.
• Trump Mortgage — Trump told CNBC in 2006 "I think it's a great time to start a mortgage company. … The real estate market is going to be very strong for a long time to come." Then the real estate market collapsed. Trump had hired E.J. Ridings as CEO of Trump Mortgage and boasted that Ridings had been a "top executive of one of Wall Street's most prestigious investment banks." Turned out Ridings had only six months of experience as a stockbroker.
• Trump Steaks — Trump closed Trump Steaks due to a lack of sales while owing Buckhead Beef $715,000.
• Trump's Travel Site — GoTrump.com was in business for one year. Failed.
• Trumpnet — A telephone communication company.
• Trump Tower Tampa — Condo buyers sued Trump for allegedly misleading them. Trump settled and paid as little as $11,115 to buyers who had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
• Trump University or the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative — Trump staged wealth-building seminars costing up to $34,995 for mentorships that would offer students access to Trump's secrets of success. Instructors turned out to be motivational speakers sometimes with criminal records. Lawsuits and criminal investigations abound. Trump ended up paying $25 million in fines.
• Trump Vodka — Business failed due to a lack of sales.
• Trump Fragrances-fail
• Trump Mattress-fail
