New episode of Shogun drops tonight at 7, so will be tuning in to the match late. Maybe we’ll get a 5 setter.

are they really gonna make us wait until tonight for the playoffs announcement lol Well, if they are waiting until the match to make the announcement, then I assume Chamionship Weekend will be in Vegas to help fans justify the travel. Flights to Vegas tend to be less expensive, too.

As much as I don't like one team out of four potentially having home-field advantage, I don't hate this.
1) I'm fairly confident the Thrill will be below the playoff line this season.
2) Even if they aren't, putting Chamionship Weekend in Vegas will help attract fans from other markets to the event.

im not convinced enough fans will actually travel to fill an arena though.
PVF is definitely upping their listed attendance numbers (or I would like to see more proof for some of these crowds lol)
Omaha has a worse record at home than they do on the road I think. getting 12-15k fans guaranteed>> 3-4-5k in Vegas

But putting the event anywhere else would be a bad look. The fans of the other markets would - not could, would - perceive it as a bias. Also, Vegas is one of the cheapest markets to travel too and there are plenty of other entertainment options for fans of teams who don't make it to the championship game and would otherwise not stick around after thier team was eliminated. Honestly, this is thier best bet for success without creating the perception that the entire league was created just for the benefit of Nebraska.

I think it also has to do with what venue is available and who wants it. I heard a rumor it was between two originally (including Vegas), then between a different two not including Vegas and one of the new teams would rather not have it. So I guess we will see. 🤷🏼♀️. That probably wasn’t very helpful. 😂

Bringing 11 other family members to this rematch in GR April 13th! It’s been happily surprising how easy it is to get them into it
