Linda Evangelista??? Are you 80 years old? Learn your herstory. I, to this day, still regularly quote this. Both the first bit, and the "your smile is beautiful."

I’ll concede I have USC too high. I don’t know the program well and am just going on last year’s performance and a rumored transfer. But you do know that USC doesn't have Fields anymore, right? Even with a 6 point, .300% outlet OH, USC was 19-13 last year. If that doesn't tell you how pedestrian the rest of the team was last year, I dunno what will. That's not to say that USC doesn't have the on paper talent to finish high in the Big 10. I'd proffer that they do, but I'd say the same about BOTH LA schools for the better part of the last decade. But for whatever reason, the collective LA achievements (or rather lack there of) when it comes to national volleyball over the last 10 years or so, has been an embarrassment to the Pac-12. Is next year the year they turn it around? perhaps, but until there is evidence to support that USC is going to live up to the programs historic reputation, I'm in wait an see mode. 19-13 with Fields…yes…but without Tyler Hildebrand, he’s gonna make a huge difference. How much? Enough? But a difference. I would expect a huge jump in the second half of the season. Setting and shot selection will show drastic jumps. Roster is upper middle of the B1G. My guess is they make the tournament…. 🏐

We never should have closed the schools. If only they had access to quality educational television.

I somewhat agree with this prediction. Minn is way too high. So is USC. Move Oregon and Ohio state up. Move Washington a little back. Northwestern has talent so don’t know if they finish last. Agree Iowa starting from scratch with mostly new players is actually a bonus. They could leap some schools. Was busy fighting Nebraska folks and couldn’t respond properly 😂 I’ll concede I have USC too high. I don’t know the program well and am just going on last year’s performance and a rumored transfer. I’m curious where you’d put Minnesota in the order. Their off-season has been pretty strong so far. In terms of MN, I think losing Davis to the portal has been a blessing. Sounds like their blocking has improved quite a bit and offensive production from Minatee is stronger than Davis’. The same concern I have had for a couple years is still there. Will MN get served off the court in must-win matches again? Time will tell. But it does sound like Z is stepping up, along with Wucherer and Hanson improving at serve receive. It will be hard to replace the B1G POTY in Landfair, but she wasn’t that last year-not even close. So my final thought is… they will be an improved squad from last season (where they still finished 5th in B1G play even after losing to Rutgers and Maryland).

I think the conference could get 12 teams in the tournament next year.

Yeah, it’s good to see Minatee and Z step up, and at least for the spring, Hanson’s done a good job filling Landfair’s role. I don’t see Minnesota dropping matches to a Maryland or a Rutgers level team, but we’ll see how they fare in the big matches. Rooting for y’all against Stanford/Texas at the season opener!

This will be such a brutal season. Coaching staffs are going to be really stretched having to scout so many different teams. I expect quite a few surprises. I have no idea where the PAC teams end up.

The conference winner will start with a P. I’ve seen it in the flames. You’ve heard it here first. Pohio State? They were talking about Pminnesota

I think this is a bit overblown. Legacy teams will have 3 different opponents. Oregon will be playing a team they played last year in 11/20 conference matches (and it's not like scouting doesn't develop over the course of the season, or that teams like Penn St. won't look completely different).
