Might as well challenge the call, you can’t go home with them

Despite a struggle in the 2nd, Stan win in 3, led by Rubin with 14 and Kurt with 11 kills.

A younger team and will need to work on these areas.

Kurt’s biggest issue today was passing—she was quite bad.

Very impressed by Yu. Kawa will be good. Don’t put Kurt in the back row….ever.

Yu did really well for a freshman - in fact much better than the other more heralded freshman setters…but Miner is still my #1 choice if she is healthy. With that being said, I’m glad we have two very good setters this yeae and then we get Parks next year as well! How exciting!
I’m ok with Ipar Kurt in the front row if Blyashov is not healthy.. but she is not ready to play in the backrow. Cawa is a very good DS and if Hambly wants this team to play excel, that is the way moving forward.
Hope our middles get set more.. they have the potential to be very dominant.
This is going to be a very long season, there will be frustration and growing pains but this team has so much potential. I hope they all remain healthy.
