London has the stats of a middle! I love that she is carrying this team!! It's the first match of the season. Let's give it a week or two... She does look improved from last season. But the sample size is pretty small. |

SC with the sweep led by Wijay with 15 kills and Batenhorst with 11. Favor did very well offensively with 7 kills zero errors, but only one block assist. Will need to improve there to keep that starting spot I'd think. Miller as middle contributes better to blocking, so I suspect we would see her go in if the team is struggling to slow down opponents. Adonia getting the start at opposite and hitting .300 must feel good for her after her first two seasons.

I noticed that this USC team is running a very quick offense now. Not the moon ball offense we are used to.

I was under the impression that Batenhorst was only playing beach.
Was she always going to play indoor as well?
If not, when and why did things change?

I noticed that this USC team is running a very quick offense now. Not the moon ball offense we are used to. USC went to a very fast offense in 2018 or so. They slowed down a little because Lanier was a little more comfortable with higher balls and they were always OOS anyway. They haven’t set moon balls for quite a while. |
