Yes, Frey having a big match. Lopes tie it up 9-9 in the 3rd. OSU has led by probably 4-5 each set, but the lopes keep finding a way.

Seven on the Beavs bench, but looks like five in Jerseys. One additional in a boot, the other in warmups.
GCU up 14-12 in the 3rd.

OSU is missing their libero this weekend from last year, White. Would be really helpful to have her, as serve receive has been a struggle at times. In the boot is a freshmen hitter, Rodriguez. Other not dressed is a freshmen hitter too.

I like Alara's setting right now, for the Beavs.

I’m in the arena. Good crowd overall, but I heard GCU sold out last night. Volleypalooza or something. Over 7K

Beavs take the 3rd set, serving well that set, with a 25-21 win, led by Rumel with 13 kills and Hester with 12. Bringing in Burns and Alara as a double sub has been effective.

OSU without their libero this was too tall of an order for a strong defensive GCU team. GCU win in 4 led by Parrott with 20 kills. I would like to see OSU move forward with DSing Light more with Paz in the back for her, and consider a different middle option for Schraeder, who had only 1 block for the match. It's just not good enough against tougher teams.

GCU’s first game of every season is called Lope-a-polooza, first week students are on campus & mainly a freshman event as their first experience.

OSU doesnt have their 2nd libero and goes to another freshman today. Teams hitting errors were way too much, hitting only .60 for the match to lose in 4 to Montana. Not a good loss. Gotta get healthy and more efficiency to prepare for next weekend. Montana was led by Clark with 18 kills.
