Japan SVLeague Top Scorers as of Nov 24 games
🇧🇷 Rosamaria Montebeller - 363 points 🇮🇹 Sylvia Nwakalor - 345 🇺🇸 Stephanie Samedy - 264 🇩🇪 Lena Stigrot - 263 🇧🇪 Lise Van Hecke - 231 🇯🇵 Arisa Inoue - 230 🇯🇵 Yoshino Sato - 208 🇹🇠Chatchuon Moksri - 206 🇯🇵 Megumi Fukazawa - 184 🇳🇱 Juliet Lohuis - 183
Arisa Inoue being the Japanese top scorer is quite expected, but pleasantly surprised to see Rookie Yoshino Sato being the 2nd. She's suddenly leading the defensive Champions with the retirement of Sarina Koga. Will not be suprised if she eventually made her way back to Japan NT Team A (she's in the WCH 2022 roster as a college student).
Juliet Lohuis is doing great! Top 10 in scoring in the league as an MB is huge!

Sylvia Nwakalor scored 44 points last Saturday then 46 points the next day. That's 90 points in 2 days. Crazy stats. I hope her shoulders are okay at the end of the season

I really hope Samedy is hitting better than Nwakalor. Nwakalor might have been among the worst opposites among major VNL contenders.

Do you happen to have efficiencies for each of the above? Rosamaria goated this season, good for her. I really hope Samedy is hitting better than Nwakalor. Nwakalor might have been among the worst opposites among major VNL contenders. I added the attack% (kills/attempts). 🇧🇷 Rosamaria Montebeller - 363 points (46.4%, 1st among OPPs) 🇮🇹 Sylvia Nwakalor - 345 (43.6%, 2nd OPP) 🇺🇸 Stephanie Samedy - 264 (41.8%, 6th OPP) 🇩🇪 Lena Stigrot - 263 (39.3%, 3rd OH) 🇧🇪 Lise Van Hecke - 231 (40.8%, 8th OPP) 🇯🇵 Arisa Inoue - 230 (37.1%, 8th OH) 🇯🇵 Yoshino Sato - 208 (37.5%, 7th OH) 🇹🇠Chatchuon Moksri - 206 (34.8%, 14th OH) 🇯🇵 Megumi Fukazawa - 184 (37.1%, 9th OH) 🇳🇱 Juliet Lohuis - 183 (44.8%, 8th MB) Nwakalor with 43.6% vs Samedy's 41.8%. Consider also though that both Rosamaria and Nwakalor already played with their teams last season, so no adjustment needed while Samedy is still new with the Japanese system and her team. We'll better see how she performs in the latter part of the season. One of Nwakalor's disadvantage is that she's only 5'11 which is very short as an international Opposite. But 5'11 is tall in Japan so she fits right (her team's OHs are 5'8 and 5'9).
