i love the production value in these matches. it's really cool to see a pre-game ESPN interview like this with the ear piece like in football lol. I'm living for what's happened to volleyball in the last 2-3 seasons. It's special.

hopefully we don't get anymore rotation errors that take 15 minutes to resolve! That looked like the ref trying to resolve a rotation question at a 13U club match when my granddaughter started playing. At some point, you want to tell them just flip a coin and get on with it. It was a bad look for a first match. Shouldn't we have the best officials for a special start of season event? Or at least officials paying attention? I mean I know it's the home of bourbon, but c'mon! |

I didn't watch the first match, but I'm watching this studio show now...I hope ESPN improves on this front.

The up ref has worked big matches, as well; I think she worked the final four last year. |
