Well. This is what I predicted would happen if Orzol couldn't go at OH. Actually I predicted worse, so I'm happy I guess? Good luck to Louisville. I predicted you'd be top three. Looks like you will do it. Some good signs from the badgers nonetheless. I actually liked the passing options. I liked the promise that Charlie showed. I think the offense will get better. A lot better. But it's early days. Shadd-Ceres actually was a pleasant suprise compared to my expectations. She made some nice out of system plays. She did make some rookie mistakes but her in for Orzol really had little to do with the loss. Serving issues. Non-existent block. Charlie was very erratic... several low and close to the net sets which got Smrek and Devyn blocked and a bit predictable. Also passing was an adventure. I need to see the full stats and I can't because I'm being blocked for some reason. I can only see the whole team stats. The main problem is that TSC didn't have much in the way of kills and that is her main job as OH. She will get there, but it is a little early to expect her to take that responsibility.

I love Scott so much and every year someone tries to ruin it for me bc they start some dumb Lexi hate campaign in order to prop her up when that's so not necessary because Scott is freaking incredible and her play speaks for itself ugh <3333 If you’re referring specifically to my comment I didn’t mean for it to come across that way. I only mentioned Lexi because of the exact reason that I didn’t WANT people to think I was dissing her since usually when one is given high praise especially by an opposing fan some people like to take that like a disregard to our own amazing players. People are weird 🤷🏽♂️ but yes direct comparisons are totally unnecessary No nothing to do with you haha

Actually. Yes. You can't lose a main outlet and not expect to get sussed out. Orzol hasn't even played OH in over a year and in her last game she was putting on a tip fest against Pittsburgh. She is not a high level terminal hitter that puts fear into the hearts of defenses in the front row. Back row yes. Are you claiming that TSC had better stats in this match than a 0.200 hitter hampered by hairline fractures?

VM might expose me tomorrow, but I was pretty impressed with Louisville's ball control (credit, wisconsin helped them a bit, but still)

I didn't expect much but she was far from the main reason the Badgers lost. That is the point.

I said TSC was far from the reason the Badgers took such a decisive loss. I mentioned the main factors earlier.

I don’t think the affects of TSC are being truly grasped here either. not to put unfair blame on TSC, but Charlie was sending some very questionable sets to Sarah back row that would’ve otherwise likely gone to Orzol but since there was no trust with TSC, they were forcing a weird behind pipe thing that was NOT working either. also the block was able to load up on Smrek bc TSC wasn’t a threat. Orzol when 100% will be a MUCH better option, even if it’s just having her passing for 6ro instead of 3.

And despite her not very “pleasant” performance, that didn’t include very many “nice out of system plays” at all, Wisconsin still outhit Louisville. I think not getting production from her was a huge component in not winning, alongside the service errors.

She was not good from Sets 2 on forward. She was outplayed by both Louisville setters. If TSC is so poor then put Charlie (which she is very capable) in at OH and bring in Anderson at setter. You guys are being entirely overly critical of TSC.
