How did UAB get the last spot? Amongst the four way tie for the 8th spot, UAB lead the head-to-head record (3-2) over Memphis (2-2), Tulane (2-2), and Temple (1-2). How is this considered head-to-head when the number of matches in parentheses you listed are all different for the teams?

How is this considered head-to-head when the number of matches in parentheses you listed are all different for the teams? I heard it came down to sets. Not sure what that looked like. From the AAC Regulations & Policies- Multiple team tie: 1. Results of head‐to‐head match during the regular‐season. 2. Results of head‐to‐head set record during the regular season. 3. Results of head‐to‐head point differential during the regular season. a. When comparing records against the tied teams, the team with the higher winning percentage shall prevail, even if the number of sets played against the team or group are unequal (i.e., 2‐0 is better than 3‐1, but 2‐0 is not better than 1‐0). There is more, but this should cover it.
