Have a question for TX. How, with half their players seeing little or no playing time, do they keep everyone happy? Prolly not. I would expect to lose 1-2 scholarship players to the portal this year, plus maybe a walk-on or two But then again, ppl have been expecting Devin to leave for 2 years now and she hasn't, so ...? I think there has to be strong incentive to stay for the benched pins at texas knowing that the starting 3 are all done after this year. I could see one of bunton or helmers leaving depending on where they end up on depth chart by the end of this year

However, I think Bunton is knocking on the door of a starting position.

Also it still doesn't seem common for a player to transfer after their first season.

How will her defense hold her back when their lefts aren’t defending ? Every player defends. Outsides do it often. Even if subbed out she has to pass and defend. This is just plain stupid. With the exception of a ball off the block or an occasional tip, they aren’t defending. Krause has 8 digs in 11 games. Landfair’s defense isn’t keeping her behind Krause. Suggesting a former POY is going to sit all year after 3 matches is absurd.

I agree about bunton, the only reason I include her is because if she doesn't win that starting position soon, she's kind of committing to three more years on the bench and then hopefully gets to start her 5th year - assuming she's ahead of Taylor Harvey, who will be a junior by then.

The only thing that will place 22 on the bench is a loss … 22 is a really good player, but she can’t take over a match like 27 and 12 have proven they can do. 22 is Cook’s favorite player, Cook won’t make the change until he has to… if watching the ex-MrLarson’s team team today today didn’t convince him, only a lose or two will… I just hope it happens before he loses this team… last night was a 💩show… On the bright side, seeing Lexi pass Parra’s serves so easily was outstanding…

I know she is injured, but wow, Smrek is not anywhere close to 100%. I didn't think it would be quite so obvious. She wasn't even swinging hard that often. Franklin was way over used, but not many other options right now.

Carlson is really coming for the gig Is she? 🫤🫤🫤 They’re both on a PIP as far as I’m concerned. We’ll circle back, because currently I don’t have the bandwidth

Emma Halter 28 digs in a 4 set match. She was locked in. she should be locked in everyone's top libero list after that performance chile. She was steady as a rock and started right where she left off in last year's tournament lol.

Did Swindle just lose her job? No. But Carlson definitely played more. The jury is still out on what Elliott is going to do with the setter position.
