Stayed for the Stanford-Minnesota match last night. Stanford is certainly beatable, but the longer the match goes on, the more the match will favor Stanford. Franklin’s gotta be exhausted after last night’s 69 attempts and 48 (!) receptions, and it doesn’t seem like Charlie trusts the other hitters enough at this point to terminate when the match gets tough. I think the Badgers will take this one, but they’re going to need to step up their communication and distribution to do it. Badger hitters struggled to terminate against the Horns and Stanford to me looked like a very disciplined defensive team. I think the B2B favors Stanford.

Minnesota hit .302 on the match, and a lot of Stanford’s digs were from covering Minnesota blocks. Stanford’s blocking last night was near non-existent(only 4 block points in the whole match), and their hitters weren’t super terminal (per set, their hitting stats were .189, .129, .121, .556, and .160). Minnesota lost the match largely because of their 23 service errors and 12 reception errors. Wisconsin’s shown so far that they’re a stronger passing team, so this is definitely a winnable match for the badgers if they pull themselves together.

I though Smrek looked better hitting from the middle yesterday than she did from RS - wonder if today's adjustment is Robinson to RS, Smrek/CC in the middle

What happens if Badgers open up.... 0-3
I think smrek RS is best option. Setting wasn't connecting for her yet.
This issues from last 2 matches is setting. She is still settling in. Will take a bit yet.

I’m surprised Stanford is getting this many votes.
They let Minnesota hit way too high against them lol. And their pins were inefficient, Wisconsin block is bigger too.

Wisconsin just go back to the 6-2 babes I agree with a healthy Orzol, but it's tough to do that when TSC is a 3ro OH.

after Avid posted the passing numbers yesterday, I'm curious to see who Stanford goes after in serve receive, either Damrow or Franklin?
