Wisconsin imploded this weekend. 0-3 and they just kind of quit. Regroup needed. There is a trend emerging: be ahead and looking good: amd lose first set close: win second set: then be in position similar to first set and lose close and then in the 4th look tired and more sloppy. Discussion: they have had injuries and resting key players hurts practice reps and 6 on 6 which your setter needs with her starters: little to no consistent production from OH’s other than Franklin: resulting in her being over worked so 4th set tough on her and not time to play into shape from summer injuries. 2 libero system? Hmmm?? And way to much expectation on your setter: let her grow into it! They have all tools to be final 4 just need time for ingredients to bond together into a unit! If rest and practice time occurs and all heal in time the teams we see this weekend have a chance to see each other all over again later. Fear not all Badgers 💪🏽💪🏽. Forward!

Just wanted to say I enjoyed watching that match immensely. Congrats to both teams and fan bases.
Stanford is going to be better than I thought they'd be. Wisconsin has a lot of growing pains, but Fuerbringer is a keeper. The lineup looks completely topsy turvy. I'll be interested to see what it looks like heading into the Big 10 and and then towards the end of the season.
I wish it could have gone five, but it wasn't meant to be. Congrats to Stanford for the win. Nice start to the season for The Tree! Wisconsin will be fine.

I actually have high hopes for Penn State we will see. They play both Pitt and Louisville so they have a chance to take down top ranked teams from other conferences They have Louisville and Kentucky there next 2 then have Pitt at end of there ooc

A lot of this boils down to Wisconsin not being able to nab a transfer OH in the portal. It's not TSC's fault (and I dont think it should be expected of her to come into a top 5 program and be a starter) I would be very curious what conversations with TayLa, Acevedo, whoever else transferred were like. I wonder if they even entertained Taylor Head (but she might've been set on beach at FSU too) Boooooo! Why you gotta bring logic and facts into this discussion?

Wisconsin's next match certainly isn't a gimme either: Maybe they'll try to pass Parra's serve with 5 receivers. You ate I fear 🤭

Does this mean no regional hosting for wisco this year? Good luck whoever gets Franklin in their regional lol They've lost to 1, 5, and 6. In theory, they could still host but they're going to have to win some of their ranked matchups.

So proud of Miner. She is coming for the Paris job. When she came into college, a LOT of people were higher on Kennedi Orr in the same class. Their father's played basketball together at USC

2.5 hours for 4 sets is killing me. I need the NCAA to address this, it can't continue if they want to grow the sport. Cut it out with 90 second time outs, especially when there are 4 to 5 of them in a set! It should be only 90 seconds between sets. I know we can't do much about the time it takes for review calls because of the %*$#ty technology, but maybe have a "review" ref who has everything pulled up on their monitor, and maybe if a definitive answer can't be reached after 90 seconds, the call stands. Please one of the best things about volleyball is the speed of the game, but these games are so slow. The challenge system took FOREVER. Huge delays. Even Hambly was visibly frustrated at certain points this weekend.
