My post mortem from this match is pretty simple. Defense not good enough yet - let them hit over 0.200 and only 9 blocks over 5 sets. That meant 10 badger errors in set two and 12 in set three were critical. The badgers won the sets rather easily when they played clean volleyball.
Devyn had another really good match. CC with perhaps her best hitting performance as a badger. .

Once Devyn moved to the middle and Lola took over as Libero, the defense settled in. I’m hoping he’ll start with the set 4 lineup tonight. This is the one that had the best blocking presence and back row defense: Franklin/Orzol Robinson/CC Fuerbringer/Smrek (DS: GG) Schumacher

The second set was tied 24 times. That seems like a lot.

That's because your assumptions are incorrect GG was diggero to Damrow's passero, and Lola was DS for Devyn. In set 4, Lola was the 5.5 ro L with GG in as DS. Didn’t GG play as sole Libero for one set before they switched to Schumacher? Basically the BR lineup was all over the place last night. Having Orzol 6 ro allowed them to try out things. remember if she started as the sole libero, or if Kelly just stopped putting her in as the passero and left GG in. But yes she has a 5.5 ro stint too. Edit: I see badgerbyproxy beat me to it

That's damn good passing. If GG passes a 2.2 I leave her in for experience, defense and setting.
I feel like we should be hitting at a better clip off of such passing. Still feel like our transition game is holding us back. Those hitting errors usually come off the transition game from my memory.
