Did something happen to her in this match? She came down funny on her ankle when blocking. Yikes! Hopefully it's just a minor tweak.

Crazy end. How was Chicone after the ankle turn? She hobbled around the court. Went to the sidelines and was in on the next point. She seemed fine. The replay looked kinda nasty. But I’m assuming all is good or she wouldn’t have gone back in. But my question is, does Purdue lack depth that they wouldn’t just sit her for a bit?

A Purdue fan is gonna have better insight on their current pin depth than me but I did at least hear that they are down two pins this season that played last year, Heaney and Rastovski. I think that's how their names are spelled.

Caught this in spurts as I am still at work but geez was somewhat of a close call set 1 was a coin flip and so was set 4 when Purdue was down 18-16 I thought there would be trouble and Cal kept it close but Purdue prevailed. Anderson makes strange decisions sometimes and is a very good setter but not sure she had that extra umph to put her in AA category. Nice win for Purdue
Cal isn’t going to be bad they showed that.

My guess if one of the left sides went down, Wollard would slide over with Carr at opposite. It sounds like the D3 transfer, Gray, has some work to do to become workable. Probably didn't want to bring her in mid-set since you couldn't slide Wollard over. As already mentioned, Heaney and Raztovski are out.

I'm trying to remember if Rachel Williams was in a libero jersey yesterday? I just now realized she was basically a serving specialist for Hornung the 2nd-4th sets.
Edit: just checked and she wasn't, but if that is the plan going forward, may as well declare her the second libero and save the subs.
