Yeah... they're not even in the TeamColorCodes database. I had to use the browser-tools eye-dropper to get the color purple.

Love the eyedropper!

I think they will win today, and take a couple of sets from Northern Illinois. I think Valpo is pretty good, at least they were last year. Here's hoping for a great turnout for a UST home-court advantage!

Stats link for the current (Valpo v NIU) match says that the match starts at 5:30 AM — and that it hasn’t started yet. Except, several of the stats view pages (everything but “summary” and “play-by-play” show the statistics of a match in progress. Fwiw, it appears to be tied one set apiece. Valpo won the first set 25-23, and NIU took the second by the same 25-23 score. “Team Stats” might be the best page to check to see what the scores are, but none of them are very good at showing what’s happening. Valpo up 3-2 in set 3. (Edit.. maybe a reversed challenge, because it’s now NIU up 3-2 in s3.)

Ugh. Currently in set 3, Valpo has 8 kills and 7 hitting errors… just a bit better, percentage-wise, to NIU’s 9 kills and 8 errors!
(Edit) And Valpo takes set 3, even though they were outhit, 0.049 to 0.024

Sweep for the Tommies! Roll Toms Nice! Every non-con win counts for conference RPI! Maybe the Tommies have another win in them tomorrow? These tournaments are better when a team does not have to do two matches in a day.

NIU takes the first match today 3-2. Blowout in s1, but then sets decided by just a few pts. I came in near the end of s5 because I didn't care if the Plowboys or Puppies won.

Interesting... Valpo uses two Ls. Wonder if it'll be like Wisconsin.
Edit: Nope. So far (more than 6 rotations) they've played #1 as L, and #13 has been on the sidelines.
