I hope that the Gophers enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame. I don't think that they'll be in the top 25 come Monday, and frankly I don't care if they are right now.
This season's going to be a rollercoaster and a grind. Hopefully Shaff is OK.

it's a tough decision. Elise was already in as a BR sub, And I don't think they were ready to burn Swenson's red shirt just yet. What possible other mother-f-ing reason do you have Chloe Ng? Like she is never supposed to see playing time unless in emergencies, and you have your other setters either unavailable or literally setting with nine fingers and you don't use her? Shame. Season 2 with a coach even more change averse than Hugh?? This is going to be a long fandom for me. |

so when are we (well, not me, others lol) going to finally put Parra in the top tier of OHs in the country?
cause 21 kills against Wisc, 30 against Minnesota.... (plus being a top 10 passing OH)
what more does she have to do?

I think I'm done wasting my time watching MN play. It's not enjoyable. I don't know what happened to the team that played TX. Too many free balls and tips and a lot of panic knee jerk plays. Predictable offense. Not serving aggressively enough and poor passing.

If Shaff is out, he will definitely have to make a decision which of the other 3 setters he will go with. Probably McGhee but we could be in for another big surprise from him. |

Even though she hasn’t played much, I heard when Ng plays during spring season and exhibitions she’s pretty consistent. Could be a good change |

I’d have to agree. |

I also can’t imagine cook said nothing about watching the tip right over the block. Which made me scream at my TV way more than I should have. Yes, he has had many questionable coaching decisions, but players need to start executing. Right now, they only decide to show up for 2.5 sets a match (excluding TX) |

Personally, I thought these two teams were in the same tier coming into the season so I’m not too surprised by the result, I think Minny beating out Texas (prior to them losing @home to Miami) is why some people think this is such a huge upset but I don’t think it can be called that.
