That’s a gift of a call because Hanson was not getting to that ball The gift was from TCU's player reaching over the net. The ref just made the correct call.

Mel’s career high is 8 kills against Iowa last year. She’s 7-0-12 right now. Third on the team in kills behind Wucherer and Hanson (11 and 10) Does anyone remember that Texas A&M setter that used to consistently be a team leader or top 3 in kills every game? She took the option ball like 50% of the time and that is what I want from Mel

Genuinely curious why people think we have better passers on the bench KC is just choosing not to use. We’re just not that good at passing. exactly what I said yesterday. sad as it is, I think Wucherer is one of the best passers we have so he can't pull her

We only saw an Elise 5-1 once against Maryland so it was only one attempt but… If they were to seriously try that, I would prefer Elise to set only 3 ros through the back. It may also help with keeping Minnesota in system with having two setters on the floor more often. Again, this is more for comedic relief and a nuclear option. Imagine if we got to the point of needing to try a 6-2 where Mel plays but as one of the opposites instead of a setter. Chloe has only set in spring matches though 😕

I think McKenna is having an average game. Not stellar but not bad.

Hollann Hans is one of my favorite non-Gopher NCAA players
