Ugh. I hate these tournaments where there's no way to see the neutral matches even if it means buying a month of Flo. According to Arizona's website, we won't even get live stats for the matches they play vs ACU and TSU.

I will recap both matches after Arizona plays Texas Southern and I get a chance to talk to Rita.
Except for the 2nd set, Arizona played well from stats perspective. Jaelyn struggled in S2. Sydnie came in for her and did some good things. Rita said she wanted to use depth because of the 2 matches today.
Journey was playing well. AJ came in late in S3, but Live Stats doesn't tell me whether Journey or Ki left.

I talked to Rita about the matches. Overall, she was happy. Didn't like the dip in the middle of the first match or the fact that the pins started out poorly. We talked about why Jaelyn has been inconsistent and what Sydnie needs to do. She also talked more about NMSU tomorrow, specifically facing Nicole Briggs, who's doing well for the Aggies this season after transferring from Arizona after her suspension.

AZ and NM have split sets. Surprising that AZ would drop a set but 7 hitting errors and service errors in the 2nd didnt help.

NM were playing well. They have a couple of strong hitters.l, and should do well in their conference. AZ is happy to finish that in 4.

Arizona is now 9-0 for the first time since 2009. They opened up 12-0 that season. Rita was extremely complimentary about NMSU's play. Was very happy with the win. Also talked about why she started Alayna Johnson instead of Journey Tucker today.
