So Nebraska gets to challenge and Stanford doesn't. Is that how this is working? PROTEST They should have shut down the replay system for set 1, if one team didn't get a chance to use it. I hope they address that going forward. Very bad look for the refs. |

Stanford is sadly outmatched at every position except libero, setter, and one OH. Hard to win when you have no middle block and subpar DSes. they are absolutely outmatched at libero, IMO -- oglivie is great, I just think roddy + DS' fits the system way better than oglivie + ... who even are the stanford DS's? |

Stanford has been outdefending and outscrapping their opponents. Hard to see them doing that against a team as good defensively as Nebraska.

this is a gooood match for these young stanford players. I think they'll figure things out and we'll get a good match yet. they haven't really played against a team as defensively focused as nebraska, but they'll shake it off and start sticking in these longer rallies in S2, I think.
