Good call on no replay there. I don’t think great chance gets that over anyways Plus she'd dug the ball before any potential run in.

If Jenna Wenaas is the only person to see a Stanford block this season I will be so mad 😭 there are a lot of blocks around the country that somehow show up when wenaas is on the court

NE really is the best team in the country when they don't play like they did against SMU. Pitt has entered the chat.

Jackson's error from earlier must have been the bad set from Reilly. Yep. Definitely bad set

Stanford really needs to start recruiting good middles. The last strong middle we've had was Inky tbh, maybe Fitzmorris (but she switched to OPP). Alade developed into a great defensive middle. But it's really been a weak point for the past decade for Stanford.
Andrew looks scared. Ugh.

There's no way you should be allowing ANY challenges in a set if one team could not challenge when they wanted to. It's the same thing as having two feet of court to service from on one side but the entire length necessary on the other. It's weird as hell. I agree, no one should get to challenge in set 1. This is on the refs. If Stanford doesn’t get to 15 in this set, a challenge wasn’t going to change the outcome of this set. Stanford got to 17, but I don’t think the outcome would have changed had they won the challenge. Texas versus Florida, for sure. I’ve never seen a match where the challenge system wasn’t working, but tonight’s example should absolutely be escalated to ensure if this happens again, neither team can challenge during the set(s) in which the system is down.
