I don't think so, at least not for the NIL reason. The lifetime value of a Stanford degree (and especially the network effects) far outstrips anything a player could earn from NIL over 4 years in the current market. It's really not that close. I think that something else that doesn't get talked about is there is no early enrollment for Stanford freshman so it's tough for the ones who do have to start right off the bat to hit the ground running and get adjusted to the college game and speed. That's probably true. They do have a tendency to start slow, even with the Plummer et al class. |

The days of Stanford contending for a title are gone with the departure of Denise and the day/age of NIL and transfer portal More the latter than prior, but the portal and NIL is a major hit for Stanford. No top team isn’t relying heavily on transfers. Your undergrad recruiting has to be perfect. Pitt only starts one transfer. It can be done lol |

Nebraska was dynamite defensively, and Andy Jackson is in a league of her own. Sanford is a much better team than this. They had a really tough night.
