She seems pretty good to me. Other than first set they gave Pitt all they wanted.

Would have liked her to get a full set. Started against Pitt. Turns out Pitt is really good Agreed. Or maybe a set of a 6-2 for some practice, with all pins playing. Regardless. Nice for nearly all players to get some playing time, and Ducks get the sweep, led by Onye with 8 kills zero errors.

Agree she's good.
But the matches Cline's started, we've hit: .375 .323 .200 .360 .299 .280 .300 (tonight before exiting)
I understand the reluctance to make a switch.

I think Cline is better overall with defense and being more active at the with dunking though, and setting middles, but gotta keep Purashaj active and ready in case she is needed.

I do think Purashaj is probably a better pure setter. Likely more consistent with location out of system, but Cline's consistency is improving and she just brings some intangibles.

It was nice to see Matt put in all the Portland area ladies. Sophie in for 2 sets. Isabel in the server sub role in set 2 and 3. And of course Daley all the way through. I definitely think he purposefully put them in the game to give them playing time because it was clear a lot of people came to see them. Announcers even said we set an attendance record for a PSU match at around 1300. Granted not much by a lot of teams standards, but that gym also isn't huge, I'd guess 3000 capacity.
That said, overall I liked Sophie more than Michelle. Michelle just didn't seem impressive to me at all. Didn't pass well, didn't seem to be trying to hit around the block and got roofed a few times as well as didn't seem to be hitting with a lot of power. I thought when Sophie was passing, overall she held her own, though they did hide here when Morris was in.
Onye is impressive. Her jump is insane, and was easily, when the set was there to hit over anyone on PSU's side. That said, Cline looked overall good to me - Athletic, aggressive but not too much. I don't think her middle connection was the best tonight, but all things considerd, our middles hit well.
