33 kills is one thing, but doing it in 4 sets and hitting .517 with 60 swings is literally insane. incredible. Just wow š®

Well that was fun. Franklin was just out there doing Franklin things. CC stepping in as backup setter as we go on a 10-0 run without a setter. Good to see Smrek rolling again.
But honestly big ups to Anderson. To step in and set that kind of game was great. She also did good work remembering our best outsides are 6ā9ā and 6ā4ā so at times you can just toss it up to them and let them go to work.

I love how Anderson has 50 assists and she was on the bench for 10 points of set three.

Franklin got "only" 5 kills in the 1st set. That means she had 28 kills over the last 3 sets lmaooo, over 9 Ks/set. Basically telling the girls to throw ball up in her vicinity and she'll figure it out because we were not losing.

Wisconsin has the best player in the country and some really nice pieces around her, but there is no cohesion and definite problems with this team. (Iām not talking about just this one match with a different setter) Early on in the season, but they are going to have to figure things out in a hurry if they want to compete for a B1G title. Undefeated in the B1G!

Gulce is looking more solid as a DS (some super OOS sets in this match) Carly put some nice consistent sets on display. Anna (FIERCE) and Frank (DOMIMANT) very high level tonight.
Booth lacks on the front line. Loses more then her share of jousts and doesn't seem to get in proper position to block more then you'd like to see.
Lola needs to work on her serve receive. She will be a target of high level serving teams.
But all in all a very good performance but Marquette's block is pretty substandard so I don't think we should get too carried away with Smrek and Franks performances.
