I'm not seeing Wisconsin and Kansas over Texas. Texas handled Wisconsin pretty easily and Kansas's schedule has been good but not comparable to Texas's. But I'm glad Arizona St didn't drop much after getting swept by a strong Nebraska team. Let me help you see Wisconsin over Texas. Wisconsin lost to the then No. 1, No. 4, and No. 6 teams. They beat a ranked TCU and Baylor teams. No losses to unranked teams like Texas has. Also, Wisconsins loss to Louisville was on a very bad serving night for them. The loss to Texas was in four sets, the first went to 30 points and the second was pulled out by Texas late. Wisconsin had injuries, including one to Julia Orzol that required them to start a true freshman at OH1 in all three of their first three matches and also an injury to Anna Smrek. And, they were experimenting with using two liberos, which has since been put aside in favor of the true freshman Lola Schumaker playing full time as libero. People are looking to those first three games and thinking Wisconsin isn't that good this year, and this Badger fan is going to be so happy when they show they are still a factor. See it however you want, but all you did was make excuses for why Wisconsin was terrible for a few weeks, and inconsistent. You can use those same one-offs to defend any team.

Strange that Stanford is getting less number 1 votes than PSU and isn't closer to Pitt in that category. Seems like Stanford keeps winning against top opponents when others aren't.... cough cough, Pitt.

We typically do not move teams down if they have not lost, so I'm wondering why Pitt was moved down by several voters. Penn State moved down by 1 and swept all 3 matches this past weekend. I'm fine with it, however; I prefer going into the Wed. match vs. Pitt as the underdog.

That's a lot of excuses packed into one paragraph.

Pitt has yet to lose a set, but I hear you.

Oregon and usc on the road and they killed both. They also deserve some benefit of the doubt considering they have gone to straight 3 final fours so it’s not like it’s some Mickey Mouse pretend team… they literally haven’t dropped a set this season and have MURDERED everyone in their path so far including some teams Stanford dropped sets too. Like say what you want about the wins but like they sure are PLAYING like a top team

BYU should not be ranked imo. They have no ranked wins and lost to USD. So why ya'll ranking them lol. Other teams like Washington are more deserving at this time.

Lmao @ Hornshouse liking this post when last year he was ok with the idea of ranking a multi-loss Stanford above a Nebraska team that 1. Was undefeated 2. Had beaten Stanford on Stanford's home court

As you do for Texas, I was giving the other side. Texas lost two 5-set games against teams who are/were ranked and played well against other top teams, were swept by a team everyone considers to be in the top 3, and beat Wisconsin. No excuses.

Had beaten Stanford on Stanford's home court I was critical of that Nebraska team last year because they were pulling out shaky wins and dropping sets to teams they had no business being competitive with. They played down a lot last season, and that was my observation. Pitt hasn’t lost a set, so I don’t see the need to leapfrog them, sorry.

It is incredibly difficult to do what Nebraska did for much of last year. In any case, the OP seemed perplexed why someone would move down a team who hasn't lost a match. I found it funny to see you liking that post.
