Matt is an excellent libero from Hawaii, and along with Kahale Clini, played at Punahou and Outrigger club volleyball. Both could have played at Hawaii, but these island boys wanted to get off the rock and go to school at UCLA. speraw didn’t want him then? Rumor has it that another Libero was in the works. Perhaps it fell through. |

Just wondering how many liberos UCLA is gonna burn through. I can't name another top program who doesn't have a consistent libero option for more than one year, whether from the players they recruit or from a transfer.
I'm obviously not in the gym but I thought McDonough's passing has been solid (from what I've seen) and Aziz was very good defensively last year.
