How long until they move Orzol back to libero? Never? Early this year, Orzol was injured to where she was mostly only playing backrow, and freshman Trinity Shadd-Ceres played the "other" left. And she was just not ready. If you move Orzol back it libero, who is the other left? Orzol has just had maybe the best couple matches of her career as a left. Unless we can clone her, she's gonna be the other left, and not libero.

I could only follow scores. Why the drastic swing in set scores? I know teams are playing at a range of levels in a match - and if Team A plays well while Team B plays poorly - then blowout sets can happen. But what were the specifics behind two 15 sets for MN and then two deuce+ sets?
MN seems to have a broad range of play (I guess Wisc too), so postseason should interesting. But it's still relatively early and I'd expect Cook to get the Gophs to be more consistent and raise the floor of their low level play (so it's not as low) as the season goes on.

But if you're Wisconsin, are you going to waste the final year of having Franklin, Smrek, Robinson, and Booth together - all that firepower - by not being able to pass and defend?

Tell me who you're going to put at left, and we'll go from there. Right now, the best team Wisconsin can put on the floor is the lineup you saw last night. The played like crap for long stretches, and still took a ranked team on the road to extra points in 5 sets. They will play better come November. I don't like losing, but I'm not AT ALL ready to write them off.

This Minnesota team feeds off momentum as much as any team I can remember. Don't let them get started and you can beat them. But once they get started, it just snowballs. I saw it in person in the two matches in Milwaukee, and saw it again last night.

The brightest of bright spots was Minatee! If we can pass... not this tragically for the rest of the season she is such a threat Shaff has been setting it further and further off the net every game. can’t wait to see her set a slide like fully behind the 10 foot line lol Has it been considered that MN's plan was to set the slider further off the net to give their middles a better chance to hit around the big WI block? Given today's players, their height and athletic ability, the plan may be to set the ball off the net a bit to give their hitters better chances to beat a block. Also, I believe that MN's passing strategy is to not try to drop the ball tight to the net but further off the net. But, hey, I know nothing compared to the geniuses on this forum.

Man Minnesota fans just turned into Texas fans like **that**. Shaffmaster flicked her wrist on that first dump while the ball was in hand, you could see it come off her fingers as she flicked it. It's a tight call but correct. It was a horrible call and totally wrong. GTFO.

Not Julia having to take that ball straight off GG’s platform It was like Poland not respecting Turkey's borders.

How long until they move Orzol back to libero? Never. The only other OH on the roster is TSC who is extremely raw and totally out of place on the floor at this level.

GG plays hard but she is not a libero for a top 10 team. I don't get what Sheffield is doing Wisconsin may not be a top 10 team at this rate.

No. You don't get to make up new, fake definitions of words. Gag already has a definition, and the usage of the word in the context is plainly sexual and disgusting. Wait girl what??? Are you trolling? Cuz wtf It's what they do.

Sheffield terrible match management, again. [...] How about running some X plays with Frank? Maye she can hit an inside fast hut, instead of the same high set to the outside. I never see Middles running back 1's... or push 1.5 balls... it's awful to witness Sheff ans Co. not being more creative and dynamic with the X's and O's. RIGHT?!?!? What's the point of being in a 5-1 if we aren't going to use the options it gives us. Might as well go back to the 6-2, eh?
