One of the only drivable matches imo IMO, the only drivable match in the BIG is Northwestern, at just over 1 hour. Otherwise, your charter gets you there way faster. When they used to have to fly commercial, go through TSA and baggage claim etc. it was more comparable to flying if you drove to places like Minnesota you would also be able to drive to Iowa, llinois, Purdue, and maybe even MSU. And even Northwestern might be debatable if the drive from O'Hare to Evanston wasn't what it is. |

From a Punzel article earlier today:
Between the hectic non-conference schedule and the various injury issues, Smrek and Fuerbringer didn’t have a whole lot of practice time together to smooth out their connection. One of the issues being that Fuerbringer had never set a 6-9 player.
"What we’re starting to see is her and Charlie getting on the same page,” Sheffield said. “A quarterback and wide receiver have to be on the same page. It doesn’t matter how great one is or if both are great, if they’re not running the same routes."
“Early on Charlie was trying to get her one-on-ones and firing it back there or on quicks and Anna’s hitting those balls from her earlobes. She’s gotten the ball in her sweet spot quite a bit more in the past three matches or so and she’s hit some really good balls. She hit some really good balls against Texas A&M that they dug. She blew up the libero a couple of times with some sweet line shots, getting up and over the block and the (libero) is taking it off the chest and keeping the ball alive. She’s getting healthier and the connection is getting a lot stronger.”
Charlie generally, and Charlie + Anna specifically, show-up tonight. Other Badgers do what they need to do.

Line of probably 300 students and the student section is already full.
Feel bad for the kids who obviously won’t get in no matter how long they wait but how awesome is that!

Wookie had a massive wide back brace on early on, but it's off now and she's doing normal warm-ups.
Wrestling team and friends got here late, and their "Reserved" bleachers behind us has been given away to other students.
