Also, Illinois has to play tomorrow at UW. Not easy for a team that is big time dependent on one arm.

Terry really gonna finish her career never getting any help not even once To be fair, Megan Cooney was pretty decent for the first two seasons that Raina played. All Big-Ten First Team and AA HM.

We have been scrappy but honestly Oregon is just more talented. They have five players that can get them a kill consistently. Illinois has one and Oregon knows who that is...lol Oregon has more talent but dropping that second set is unacceptable. It happened bc they are more talented and they imposed their will which is what better coached/more talented teams do. Which is also why they are smoking us in this set. Sucks for us Illinois fans but just facts.

Didn't always feel comfortable because of some shank streaks and because Terry went for 5+ Kps and 4 aces, but ended up 75-56 and .318-.099.
Nice bounceback from Cline in set 3, and a very good balanced performance from the team.
Just need to keep shrinking the lapse periods. We are not where we need to be for November, but you can see things coming together and the consistency growing. Onward!

Illinois looks slow and lost on defense practically all over the court. Unfortunately that appears to be the Tamas defense..... been that way for several years now.
