Agreed lots of great talent and could recruit buy couldnt get then there I feel like Stanford recruits itself. We’ll see how that holds up in a world with NIL.

Ehman in her free agent era getting her bag If Ehman doesn't announce on ESPN, she won't announce the championships. I think that's her goal, and good for her.

Was hambly a good hire for Stanford? 🤔 Literally no one who knows him thinks that Hambly has a great VB mind. His appeal for Stanford was in his demeanor, which some thought would be sufficient to maintain Stanford’s recruiting edge. His players literally do not improve much at all during their time with him as coach. Is "demeanor" code for looking hot and being quiet?

I still think it recruits itself at the high school level, but they don't benefit much from transfers. My overall point is that I'm not sure how much credit to give Hambly for recruiting when it's a school that has historically recruited itself.

Louisville, Stanford, Texas - teams I just can't get a grip on. Probably because they all have a big range of play and haven't got a grip on themselves. Will be very interesting to see how they all progress and where they are once the tournament rolls around. Obviously they all have huge upside potential - but can they unleash it. Texas is way underperforming given the wealth of riches in recruiting. I don’t really think Stanford or Louisville have tournament potential despite high ranking thus far

Was hambly a good hire for Stanford? 🤔 Well, they went to three Final Fours and won two titles in his first three seasons. I'm not sure just any coach could have gotten that result even with that ridiculously loaded team. That said, it remains an open question whether he can build a great team of his own. So far, the answer is "no." This a very pessimistic view imo, but also I understand that a lot of people on here put the 99% of a teams value on their tourney finishes. Stanford finished the last two seasons as conference champions and a top 4 tourney seed. I guess to you those aren’t “great” teams but I think that they definitely are. We lost a 5 set match by a hair to incredibly talented and veteran San Diego squad and then put up a better fight than wisco or Nebraska did against a red hot Texas team that ended up winning the whole thing in dominant fashion. Those two things happening doesn’t make or break whether a team is great to me but like I said, ik a lot of yall base ur opinions off of just the tournament

Idk why Hambly hasn’t played Cawa more that would at least help them solve one of their problems I agree Cawa looked very steady to me under the bright lights in Milwaukee.

Middle is inconsistent with the block as well.
