Is Kentucky reminding anyone of Minnesota last year? A little?
Plenty of talent but just not getting it done against ranked opponents. This loss isn't nearly as bad as Minnesota's losses to Maryland and Rutgers last year. And it's still early. They have a ranked opponent on Sunday they can make a statement against and have other opportunities in conference. But for now they're 6-6 and what have they done to deserve a ranking? I remember thinking Minnesota was ranked for too long last season, and this is starting to feel that way for Kentucky too.
