That eyesore of a match abruptly shifting to the bright green and yellow in the Oregon match is jarring
Time to walk the dog

Career nights for Colvin and McAleer. And Kane!
Hornung had 24 digs but I don't think that's her career high? Might be 26 back when Schermerhorn was injured.
Still, it's a shame Penn State decimated Purdue the other night, otherwise Colvin might be in contention for B1G POTW.

Well they really screwed the pooch on that one. At least it went 5 and they lost to an opponent ranked higher then them so quality loss. Passing will definitely be the focus of practice this week and it's unfortunate that Minatee had an off night hitting. Oh have they just not been focusing on passing in practice? Well that's reassuring because now they should be able to fix it 😂😂

Its funny because minnesotas vibes have been off to me and Purdue seems so relaxed and fearless Watching us Purdue and Minnesota fans go back and forth on how our team is worse is just so cordial. I’ve really enjoyed this game against a good fan base. Yeah there never seems to be beef on VT between MN and Purdue fans. I love watching Purdue volleyball. Got to see a lot of it tonight lol Congrats on the win!

Congratulations to the Boilermakers! Raven Colvin popped off and was a big difference maker. Tough loss for the Gophers but it was a competitive match.

At the time, I thought it comical that not long after MN was passing pretty much with just Z, Shondell holds up 4 fingers and Purdue was passing with 4. In the end, though, nothing was funny about all the passing.

Kudos to Purdue for their serving. That's the simple recipe against MN (although execution is another thing), and I realize against the Gophers it's a fairly low bar. The poor quality of ball control was astonishing, actually. I don't think Purdue did anything particularly well. They received better than MN (again, low bar), but not great. Got the ball to Colvin regularly, but not as much as they should have. They had three good servers.
I can only imagine how it would've been had Wucherer had to touch a ball in the back row...

Colvin has destroyed MN every single time she has faced them. Doesn’t matter which roster.
MNs passing and defense was awful tonight, and that’s putting it nicely.
The fact that there was no change in the passing pattern for MN irks me to no end. This gave me 2023 MN vibes and not in a good way.

Cook made some changes, he had just Z and Kate passing at one point, I'd have to rewatch to see when that started and how long it lasted

At one point I remember him telling Acevedo to move up and out of the passing pattern and he might've pulled Hanson (who was back row and not passing) into the pattern. I feel like he was trying but when everyone is struggling and you have limited options, it's tough.
