Yes in the background but this made my ear perk so don’t come after me if it’s not 100% right but pretty sure they said they were practicing flipping Harper Landfair/Krause and doing some other things but didn’t want to do it tonight do to Layla starting. |

Claiming she hasn’t gotten opportunities to play in long matches. 😑 Im trying to give the Landfair stans hope. I wasn’t slighting you or your comment. The 😑 reaction is to Cook saying Landfair got “gassed” tonight, blaming it on the lack of opportunities to play in long matches. My full response to his comment is this wasn’t a long match. It was a sweep, in which Illinois didn’t score more than 20 points in two of the three sets. Also, the lack of opportunities to play isn’t Landfair’s fault. That’s on Cook for not giving her the chances to start. With that said, I do credit Nebraska for its S&C program. It seems like their players come back stronger with greater stamina every season. This is evident in Nebraska’s matches that go to five sets, in which Nebraska almost always looks like the more refreshed and energetic team in the final set. With a full year in Nebraska’s S&C program, Landfair will be poised to go on an absolute tear next year for this team, yet I still believe she needs to get more opportunities this season. Hitting above .200 tonight is still better than the alternative’s average output. And given how many matches Lindsay’s had to average lower than .200, Landfair should get the same opportunities. |

For someone as big and talented as she is, Landfair can be underwhelming. She doesn't bring the heat as much as you expect her to, and she sails that sharp cross wide too often. Is she still hurt?
It's frustrating that you can find a dominant attacker on all the other top teams and Nebraska settles for being the Iowa Football of Volleyball.

I think Andi Jackson is Nebraska's dominant attacker this year. Also, Beason has been averaging above .250 for the last several matches after a slow start. |

The season is not even half over. Plenty of opportunities for Landfair to shine. She has played very well at home so she just needs to get it going on the road. She still had 8 kills. Plenty of time to work on that connection. She has a long track record and I'm not worried in the least. Let's see how it plays out.
