JT I picked St. Thomas to win both matches, but I will be most interested in the Denver match. I think that both Denver and St. Thomas will qualify for the Summit League tournament as both teams seem to be better than Oral Roberts, North Dakota, and Kansas City. So far, it is clear that South Dakota State, Omaha, North Dakota State, and South Dakota are better than Denver. However, with the Tommies win over South Dakota, they very well might be a top four team in the league. With Denver and Kansas City struggling so far this year, combined with the rise of South Dakota State, North Dakota State, and St. Thomas, it's an interesting conference to follow this year.

I know in my head that “teamA beats teamB, who beat TeamC” doesn’t mean that teamA beats teamC, (nor that the winner is better than the loser… off nights happen). => Still, I worry about Thursday, because after NDSU beat us at our home, ORU beat NDSU on the road. I’ll worry about Saturday and Denver after that! Would love to see the Tommies get a high seed in the League tournament, even though they can’t benefit (NCAA-wise) from being in, nor winning, it. (It’d also be sweet to have the 2025 League tourney in St Paul, when they still wouldn’t be eligible to be the AQ.)  |

Thank you for making UST game threads, seriously! That they are getting love at all is huge, but the (relatively) great season they've been putting together is such a fun story to follow. Cheers JT

- South Dakota. . . . St Thomas won 3-0, Oral Roberts lost 0-3
- NDSU . . . . . . . . . St Thomas lost 1-3, Oral Roberts won 3-2

Was that a 9-0 run I just saw? I thought it was 3-1 before we started the run… so 8 points by my memory. (I could check the stats, I guess.) (Checks stats… yeah, 2-0 ORU, then 2-1, then 3-1, then we went on an 8 point run.) So far, I’m not worried… which worries me. |

Payton Willman came in as a serving sub for MB Megan Wetter, which usually happens later in the match, after coach Pham is sure that we won’t run out of subs (my opinion). So he seems confident, too.
