Her age was less than the number of cupcakes Penn State was awarded in the tournament during their "streak". Megan, Alisha, Nicole, Christa, BB & Arielle worked hard for those cupcakes. They earned the right to feast. Honestly, that team made basically every other team in the country look like a cupcake.

I didn't even catch that LMAO so unserious Washington took two losses, Texas A&M lost to Mississippi, Virginia lost to GT, Michigan lost to Illinois, Baylor got destroyed, and Florida is just abysmal. Who else deserves these spots? Actually, A&M lost to LSU. They beat Mississippi 3-1.

Who else deserves these spots? Washington lost to UCLA and 2 highly ranked teams and swept Illinois Virginia lost to Georgia Tech (a team you ranked) and beat another team you also ranked Baylor has beaten multiple teams you ranked Other than sweeping Baylor, what has BYU done to deserve being ranked? I would take Arizona before BYU

I would take Arizona before BYU I didn’t have Washington ranked last week, so why would I have them ranked this week after two losses? I didn’t rank Georgia Tech this week, so they got back in the rankings by beating Virginia convincingly. FSU stayed in the rankings because they at least stayed competitive with Louisville and have a harder schedule than Virginia, UNC, and NC State. Baylor was abysmal this week, so they dropped out. BYU is pretty much the last team in because they at least got a good win in over Baylor and came close to beating TCU. Arizona only had one match this week and they lost, so why would I rank them this week when I didn’t rank them last week. Places 21-25 are VERY subjective, and if a team has a good week and a good resume, why not throw them a bone?

we didn’t have nearly the amount to go off of when Nebraska lost to SMU so absolutely not the same Yeah, that was Nebraska's fourth match of the season compared to Pitt's 16th. Yeah, I’m not arguing FOR Pitt at 4 lol. Just trying to “justify” whoever voted that way. At this point, the team with the “best” loss right now… is Penn State, with a loss to Pitt, and no other losses, but I don’t think Penn State is a top 3 team, either. This year is messy. With all that being said, I suspect the coaches poll will have Nebraska at 1 because Pitt has the most recent loss.

I'm like 55/45 that Pitt narrowly hangs onto its ranking, but I won't be surprised either way.

super seniors and transfers? This is wild, 6 out of 7 starters are super seniors (assuming Wheeler starts over Perdue, if Perdue starts all 7 are super seniors). They will lose every single starter next season... Surely this is the oldest team ever fielded? Arizona State is starting 4 Super Seniors/Graduates (Ung, Jeter, Kjolhede, and Shroll). Rabelo is also a Super Senior/Graduate who has had significant time. Cyr and Cromartie are seniors and Bailey Miller is the youngster as a Junior. This is pretty much their team outside of a SO DS. Cyr and Rabelo are the only two that didn't transfer in (from what I can tell).

I find it fascinating that Wisconsin has ZERO top 15 wins and yet are ranked #9 halfway into the season. Are people just voting on their potential? They absolutely have potential, but ZERO top 15 wins ranked in the top 10?? Come on...

Remember when the committee finally had a chance to give Penn State a decent East Coast team that was red hot coming into the NCAA Tournament and had beaten Marquette and Creighton on-back-to-back days (St. John's).
What did they do? Sent St. John's as a 4-seed to play a top 16 seed on the road in College Station, TX (Hollan Hans) and gave PSU three other east coast cupcakes (American, Princeton, Towson).
