Nebraska did better vs Creighton, than Creighton did vs Nebraska. Nebraska beat Creighton in five at home. It could of went any other way. I would of had nebraska at 2 still, but its not inconvevable to have them ranked lower than creighton. This season teams are so tight, even the team we THOUGHT was unbeatable lost okay you’re the only one who thought Pitt was completely “unbeatable” lol

This season teams are so tight, even the team we THOUGHT was unbeatable lost It is absolutely inconceivable to have them ranked below creighton lol. Nebraska has the head to head over creighton for the billionth time Nebraska swept Louisville in Louisville, who’s creighton’s only other loss Nebraska has less losses Nebraska has way more top wins (8 ranked wins versus 3) and creighton doesn’t even have the opportunity to get more from this point on bc of their conference And that is valid too. As others have stated, there is no right or wrong way to rank. Hornshouse criteria, maybe eye test, and they think creighton is better. Which they MIGHT be. Nebraska is my number two, but I dont think its impossible to see others changing it, esp with the way they played purdue. As others have said, one more point and they could of lost.

The one guy I know is happy Nebraska is not no. 1 is John Cook. He has said many times he would prefer NOT to be ranked no.1 at this point in the season because it puts a target on your back.

Not sure it makes much difference than being #2 or most any other season. Top teams like Nebraska and Texas always have a big target on their back even when they aren't #1.

I was looking at Baylor and noted they haven't played much on the road yet. And then realized they are only playing 6 matches outside the state of Texas this year. They are 0-2 so far.

I didn't even catch that LMAO so unserious Washington took two losses, Texas A&M lost to LSU, Virginia lost to GT, Michigan lost to Illinois, Baylor got destroyed, and Florida is just abysmal. Who else deserves these spots? honestly, after 12 its a coin flip. Just surprised to see all those teams together on one ballot. Just imagine the committee trying to figure out last four in first four out. Shoot, last 12 in haha

I agree with you, but I do think that recent incarnations of Nebraska have not played as well when they are the "hunted" vs. the hunter. Last season, even though people knew they were good they were still considered a bit of an underdog behind Wisconsin and I think that the pressure of not being the favorite to win helped a lot. This season, I think they felt the weight of expectation of themselves and the fans with everyone expecting them to waltz back into the finals. Obviously, they are still playing well, but it's something I think they had to get used to from a comfort standpoint.
