stowers and mya to SMU please thanks! But also Elise McGhee is gone next year so Baylor needs another OH. They will only have Murphy and Warren (and Keene) on the roster.

Going to see more of these very soon. Rumor is that TCU told 3 of their 2025s that they were pulling their offer because of NCAA rule of having 18 on the roster. I'm sure coaches will blame the rules, but to me it is creating space because they will be using the portal to fill an immediate need that they feel they can't get from incoming Frosh. And now that the NLI is gone, its really going to be the wild, wild west This post 👆🏼makes no sense: you currently have 12 scholarships: she was offered and committed when there was 12: u der new rules 18 can have scholarships. The rumor is crazy: we are pulling because we can only have 18: but we offered when we had 12

Is this Internet Sensation Mya Allen? Yes. Have people actually seen her play or just clips here and there on Tiktok? I will say, I was shocked when TCU offered her. She is a decent player, but I don't know that she's as great as the internet makes her out to be. Against real open competition, she often had a hard time producing.

She had some great highlight clips, but was definitely not a great all-around player, especially at her size. I wonder if she was actually a walk-on at TCU, not a scholarship kid, as that would make a lot more sense.

So I'm sure we'll be hearing about another soon.

It would be a bit premature for that, given they haven't settled the roster caps -next court date is in April and we will MAYBE know the final outcome then, barring any appeals- when that will be implemented, if the rule will allow programs to grandfather in current roster commitments, etc. The original planned implementation of this in July 2025 doesn't seem logistically likely at this point.

But, I'm not sure they're that much different than suggested mid-major teams... like Coastal Carolina and Northern Iowa (just me throwing a little shade because TCU lost to both of those teams last year )

She gets head and shoulders above the net when attacking, but, as with all shorter pins, I'm worried more about her blocking.

So, I won't be holding my breath that it will happen that fast.
