Was Ramsey Gary watching that? Because...uhhh....you would help so much with the first contact girl on a team with some decent deep tournament run aspirations.

Wisconsin basically won this one with defense and Charlie's serving. Great job both putting up a good block and then keeping the ball off the floor behind it.
Now to get the offense recalibrated - we're not going to beat Nebraska or Penn State with this offensive output.

"They didn't play good, we just played bad" ok cope lmao I apologize, that wasn't meant to be a knock on Wisconsin, There are times where Purdue gets run off the court by a superior team (think Elite 8 vs Kentucky a couple years ago). There are times where Purdue does not play to their potential, and it hurts because you know they are capable of more than that (think the Elite 8 vs Pitt). Tonight felt like a lot more of the latter than the former, at least to me. I kind of feel like a Purdue playing on all cylinders should get at least a set at home with that support. That said (and not having watched the full match), the Badgers have a way of disrupting other teams play with serve and block. I'm thinking that the badgers D is now more dependable than it's O.

I think that is okay, though. We have so many weapons (even Julia from the BR!) that someone will always be hot and scoring, but a great D keeps from giving points to the opponent.

Wow! Just really, really happy with the win and how far the Badgers have progressed since the start of the season. Hoping the Purdue fans who showed out for the match continue to watch the team going forward. It wasn't their day today, but I am not going to lie, glad there isn't a return visit scheduled for Madison this year.

We really needed Pitt/Louisville on NBC this weekend and this match relegated to BTN.

Anderson did NOT have a good setting night May be her worst match of the year, not getting ball in right spot, didn't block like normal, will not criticize hitter selection, she has distinct guidance where to go.

Tbh I'm so proud of Wisconsin after all the doomsday talk during preseason Playing preseason before having libero established and without our starting OH in front row does in fact make a difference.

Purdue on all cylinders has at least a 40% chance of beating anyone in the country, except maybe pitt. But their floor is lower than many because the passing/setting/opp is so inconsistent.
