They will be sent to Stanford--who will be more than willing to play them. I think Sac State is still alive in their tournament. What happens if they win? There will be 2 schools within 400 miles of Palo Alto.

I just want Texas or Nebraska to forfeit to SJSU, and complain about the risk of being hurt as the reason, lol Aren’t both schools quite “liberal” compared to their states?

Paul Sunderland and Holly McPeak on the call for the first round NCAA playoffs between SJSU and Stanford.
Sunderland: Good evening everybody, this is the first match that no cousins of Kerri Walsh Jennings and Kate Formico will be featured on the Stanford side.
McPeak:That's right Paul but we what we do have featured tonight on the San Jose State side are several active lawsuits regarding team mates.
Sunderland: Several teams in the Mountain West Conference have forfeited 6 match's during the regular season against this SJSU team. McPeak: SJSU has a outside hitter who can spike the ball at 80 MPH and has injured several opponents. Teams want a certain SJSU player banned due to potential injury concerns.I know something about being banned as I was kicked off the Cal Berkeley team when I was a college player and this is not a good situation.
Sunderland: I am at a loss for words because I can't repeat the KWJ Formico story ad nauseam.
McPeak: Paul let me tell you getting hit by a volleyball at 80 MPH can do some serious damage to anybody.
Sunderland: Let me tell you Holly any man getting hit in the wrong place by a ball at that speed would be the same as getting the mumps.
McPeak: I had a successful beach career and while major drama and threats of lawsuits were part and parcel there, this is the first time I have ever experienced one team mate suing another to keep her from playing.

You don't have a clue about what you're posting. Do those states have laws saying transgender athletes can't compete in women's sports? Cause that would be very awkward. Well, let's talk about Idaho. They passed such a law in 2020. The 9th Circuit Court gave an injunction prohibiting it from being enforced until the constitutionality was decided. The plaintiffs in the case were Boise State students. One was transgender and wanted to try out for the track team. The other was cis-gender but sued because she didn't want to be subject to genetic testing in order to play sports. The case has been submitted to SCOTUS. Of course, Idaho law means nothing in California. Or in Nevada, where the MWC tournament is being played.

A news outlet reported that the NCAA did an investigation involving players SJSU and Colorado State conspired to throw the match and hurt a player. Is this new or old news. And nothing was done.

Old news. "Nothing was done" because the investigation found that there was no evidence the accusations were true.

"Nothing was done" leads one to believe that the allegations had some credence to them. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of that.
