Do those states have laws saying transgender athletes can't compete in women's sports? Cause that would be very awkward. Well, let's talk about Idaho. They passed such a law in 2020. The 9th Circuit Court gave an injunction prohibiting it from being enforced until the constitutionality was decided. The plaintiffs in the case were Boise State students. One was transgender and wanted to try out for the track team. The other was cis-gender but sued because she didn't want to be subject to genetic testing in order to play sports. The case has been submitted to SCOTUS. Of course, Idaho law means nothing in California. Or in Nevada, where the MWC tournament is being played. It’ll be interesting to see how SCOTUS handles this case, especially considering the “boy wanting to be subject to genetic testing” element. Requiring anyone who wants to compete in women’s sports to submit to genetic testing (or other forms of “gender testing”), is a massive invasion of privacy. Ironic that the most “libertarian” states are the ones that are wanting women to submit their GENETIC MATERIAL to the state for surveillance.

I honestly can’t say my opinion on how I truly feel about the issue
I think it’s very case by case, and that can lead to issues too.
I can truly understand both sides (when arguments are logically presented)
But nothing about the other side (slusser and friends) has been logical about this. It’s all attacks and just blatant lies, and the way they attack Blair is so disgusting

So "the Trans" is name calling. So the next time I speak about say, a judge, I can't say "the Judge"? Is your argument, a general statement of "correctly labeling" or is it just for the trans community. Or can I say "the trans" community. Please elaborate, because I'd like to know what the correct terminology is for "the trans" community. I don't want offend anyone. “Trans” is an adjective, not a noun, so it can’t be said in isolation. Saying “the trans community” is perfectly fine since the adjective (trans) is describing the noun (community). “The judge” is fine since judge is both a noun and an occupation. Let me know if you need any other linguistic lessons. So for the easily offended, I guess I should use the /s So that you'll know sarcasm when you hear it. But continue with your by the book lessons. While you're at it. Go look up what the definitions are of male and female. And tell me which category "the person" /s falls under. I'll wait for your lesson in human biology with bated breath.

Ironic that the most “libertarian” states are the ones that are wanting women to submit their GENETIC MATERIAL to the state for surveillance. Pre-employment drug testing and invasions of privacy are less restrictive, so it's quite possible for a court that is inclined to oppose trans participation to find some sort of justification on the basis of pre-eligibility.

This person still has all of his original genitals still intact. Been hiding in the locker room watching her change, have you? Got a camera rigged up in her shower? I'm not sure how else you would know what a volleyball player's genitals look like. Creep. Nope, not my thing. Its funny, you know, there's nothing you could say that would insult me. But you think that there is. Its comical. I got involved in the conversation because, someone took the liberty of calling another poster a disparaging name. Amoral Bigot, I believe the term was. Go back to when I started, not once did I call anyone a slur or a disparaging name. At the very most I called someone Holier than Thou, but if the shoe fits.... Or if this person was offended, than maybe that might be closer to the truth than I thought. Also, I said genitals, I could have used some other word, but the noun/adjective/linguistics crowd would be in an uproar. Okay, teachable moment for me. Answer me this. Does he or doesn't she have the same genitals as it were at birth? If no, my apologies to her. If yes, no apologies to him. In either scenario, "the person" shouldn't be playing on a female gender specific sport. You can quote Olympic committee this, or LBG.. that, its still a biological male playing in a league meant for biological females. And let me respond to your statement that I'm sure you are chomping at the bit to say. Yes, it is my business to know and everyone else to know, if in fact, he is still intact or she isn't. Its all our business because that is part of what all this commentary is about. But heaven forbid someone mentions genitals. Whoever does must be a lurker or a creep. Well add I'll add that to Amoral Bigot because just like any other slurs or insults you throw my way, it doesn't phase me. I'm not a victim of anything. It's ironic that the type of people (to be clear, I'm not talking about you, just in case your getting your book of slurs ready) that are so sensitive about how they are even addressed properly and their respective posses are the very ones to shoot from the hip with the worst thing to call someone in response to having their sensitivities offended. I'm sure there are many on this board that agree that there is no place for a MAN on a WOMANS team. But when you get into the details of what the context really is all about, then the PC police comes out guns a blazing. So hide your collective heads in the sand. By not discussing this in all its context and not saying what needs to be said, accomplishes nothing. And that begins by calling someone an Amoral Bigot.

You could start with a Scientific American article from 2016 titled "Sex redefined: The Idea of 2 Sexes Is Overly Simplistic". I like overly simplistic. Man - Strong Woman - Not as Man - Jump High Woman - Not as H L Mencken - For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.

Dude, you need to chill.
She played on club teams in high school for ages, played on several different college teams, and now suddenly this is an issue.
This isn't about the "PC police" as you say.
It's darker than that.

Hahah props to you on scouring the internet for that amusing piece. It makes it so much more believable when its in cartoon form. I understand so much better now. But, of course, you must know this falls under satire. Thank you anyway though. I do appreciate the effort.

It's darker than that. I don't like to start any of these flame wars...ever. But no one called out miss "Holier than Thou". It was crickets. So I had to say something. Look at my history over 12 years on this board. I'm a chronic lurker. But the condescending attitude that is so prevalent here and that remains unchecked because that opinion fall on the right side of the issue...or more specifically, the left? Put it this way, I'll go back to my living under a rock lurker status, when they stop responding to me.
