Arkansas weird movement to me. From 43-67. They lose to Florida Wed, who’s well above them, then beat Auburn Sunday who was a ways ahead of them and then drop 23 spots??

Jerritt: Ok team, RPI futures has us at 9. As of right now, that puts us against SMU and Pitt (or Nebraska depending on how some games go). We can't have that. What are we going to do about this?

Jerritt: Yes! Lose to them in 5 for a "good" loss. The consecutive home loss, the former Texas players, the Austin local. These storylines will be great! Ok, who else?

David: Tennessee wouldn't be the worst loss.

Jerritt: No, David! We can't lose in the last week. We need to rise like the phoenix from these losses and go on a tear. Plus, it's unclear if the committee even pays attention to the last week.

Erik: What about Oklahoma? They're kind of a bubble team, and we still play them twice, so we can split the series.

Jerritt: Great job, Erik! Although our second game is still kind of late. We'll have to lose the first one. 3 home losses in a row? It's risky... but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

Yes, but they beat Ole Miss, Auburn, and Oklahoma so I'd say that the Miss St loss is less heavy, especially since Miss St just swept A&M, who just beat Texas. So much parity.

To be fair, Texas won't end up in Pittsburgh or Lincoln if they lose on home court in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament, which will be against teams on the similar level of the opponents they just lost to.
