Unless I totally missed a thread, did anyone see that the dates have possibly changed? I was on the Lewis site and noticed they had the dates for May 8-May 10, which is not the traditional first Thursday of May for the semifinals. So I was excited that the NCAA may have separated the Men's tourney from the Women's beach tourney. Then I went on the NCAA site and it actually says May 10-12 which is Saturday thru Monday. www.ncaa.com/sports/volleyball-men/nc

A 3rd at large and first seed gets a bye then? I would have favored 10 teams and 1 and 2 seeds getting byes, but maybe that’s too many at larges.

I realized I was wrong too, it’s not 1st seed gets a bye it’s 8/9 have to play an extra round, then go up against 1 seed. Being real I definitely don’t get it at that point but who knows I’m not an expert.

NEC currently sits at five teams with both Merrimack and Sacred Heart leaving so they are under the minimum requirement to earn an auto bid. Unless I'm missing something here, D'Youville's schedule and this List of Men's Volleyball Programs also display the same thing. Does anyone remember or know if they have a sixth team for this year?
