....aren't they the best? Who would you have instead? I believe your coaches have to be apart of something to participate in this no? Or am I wrong? This was true the last time I had some knowledge of the process. |

Well, these aren’t the 26 best players in the class, but this should be a good one. The class of 2025 will be epic. Agree that these are definitely not the 26 best players in the country. Several consensus top 25 players in several recruiting lists were not invited and 6 players on this year's USAV U19 national team roster were not invited either....Hazel Alevok, Logan Bell, Kacie DeMaria, Nadiya Johnson, Kirra Musgrove and Natalie Wardlow. Not sure what UA bases their decisions on, but how did they miss on so many of these proven players identified by USAV and other recruiting observers? |

Everything is colored by a bit of politics.
I'm sure Under Armour has their reasons for picking who they pick, just like USAVB and whatever recruiting list you prefer has their reasons. It's just a game on ESPN17.

No Kaci Demaria, a top 5 recruit in that class... I will never understand... Y'all don’t realize that a lot of times the athletes don’t want to do it. They may have been offered but chose not to. Even Harper Murray at first said she wasn’t interested but changed her mind. |

U19 was full of political picks(recruiting purposes etc,you mentioned two alternates. I agree with crossover2 maybe add Demaria with Wardlow. The others are equivalent to who was chosen. And UA has some political picks as well. |
